Über I AM (A-2026)
I AM (A-2026)
Erschienen im „MiKe-Abo Juli 2026“
Gattung/Stil: Indie-Pop
I AM
Text © MiKe, Musik © MiKe
They gave me a name,
a place, a time, a frame.
Taught me to count, to dream, to run –
but never asked where I came from.
I searched in blood and bone,
in voices not my own.
But the more I peeled, the less remained –
until I found what can’t be named.
[Chorus]
I am – not the echo of a face.
I am – not a moment in this place.
I am not thought, I’m not a skin –
I am what has always been.
I am not the roles I play,
not just dust in DNA.
Not the mask I wear for you –
not the lies I once called true.
I don’t belong to space or form,
my birth was not when I was born.
I breathe behind the silent scream –
I’m more than any waking dream.
[Chorus]
I am – not a glitch in a machine.
I am – not a wave on time’s ravine.
I’m not a spark you can pin –
I am what has always been.
Before the voice, before the eye,
before the question asking “Why?” –
I was.
Not light, not sound, not shape, not sin –
but something deep, unbroken, thin.
And now I rise, and now I claim:
I was never just a name.
[Final Chorus]
I am – beyond the edge of mind.
I am – the seer, not the blind.
No end, no start, no loss to win –
I am what has always been.
Yes, I am …
what has always been.
